The Compleat Angler Hotel announces return of popular Christmas market

Luxury destination The Compleat Angler Hotel has unveiled a selection of elevated seasonal experiences for the family to enjoy this winter. Perched on the banks of the River Thames in the picturesque town of Marlow, The Compleat Angler Hotel offers a truly enchanting setting for festive celebrations.

This year's line-up will indulge all five senses, creating magnificent moments for all. At the centre of its festive calendar is its enchanting Christmas Market. Hosted on Saturday 22nd November, the hotel will transform into a festive haven, with stalls offering mulled wine, hot food, wreathmaking, crafts and more. A special visit from Santa's real reindeer completes the experience.

Throughout December, The Compleat Angler will also host a series of festive party nights. Taking place on various dates in December, each evening begins with a glass of fizz followed by a delicious three-course meal, before dancing the night away to music from the hotel's resident DJ. A black-tie New Year's Eve Gala Dinner rounds off this year's festivities. Champagne, dinner and dancing are all on the menu as guests countdown to midnight and prepare to welcome in 2026. Alternatively, guests can opt for seats at The Compleat Angler's New Year's Eve Candlelit Dinner. Hosted in the hotel's tranquil Riverside Restaurant, this truly special occasion begins with a champagne and canape reception, followed by a delicious six-course dinner, rounded off by music in the Walton Bar and a disco in the Regency Suite.

In addition to a calendar of set events, The Compleat Angler has various opportunities for international and local guests alike with various seasonal dining options and overnight stays available. Guests looking to begin the celebrations early this season can also book a place at the hotel's exclusive wine tasting evening on Wednesday 19th November, and sample a bespoke four-course menu paired with Ghost In The Machine wines – or join The Compleat Angler's Tina Turner Tribute Night on Friday 21st November, including a welcome drink, two-course dinner and a show dedicated to the queen of Rock 'n' Roll.
