On Wednesday 13th August, Burnham Beeches Hotel will host an English Wine Pairing Evening with Chapel Down in Brasserie 1727, celebrating the very best of English wine with a carefully curated set menu.
Each course will be paired with wines from one of the country's most renowned producers. Diners will hear from a Chapel Down representative throughout the evening, who will share insights into the craftsmanship, heritage and growing appeal of English winemaking.
Set within the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, Burnham Beeches Hotel offers a particularly elegant backdrop for the evening. The memorable summer supper with a strong seasonal feel will include breaded camembert bites paired with or house cured salmon to start, honey-glazed pork belly or pan-friend seabass as the main course finished with a delicious dessert of strawberry cheesecake.
The breaded camembert bites will be paired with a Chapel Down Brut while the house-cured salmon will be served alongside a Chapel Down Rosé. Both main courses will be enjoyed with Chapel Down Bacchus and the dessert will be accompanied by a Chapel Down Rosé.
