Couples planning their big day are invited to experience the timeless elegance of Stonor Park at a special Wedding Showcase taking place from 12 pm to 4 pm on Saturday 18th April. Hosting only a select number of weddings each year, the historic estate will open its gates for an afternoon of inspiration, offering couples rare access to explore the grounds, beautifully styled for a wedding day.
Throughout the afternoon, the Stonor Park team will be on hand to inspire invitees with options for their special day – from the elegant lawns framed by the exquisite setting of Stonor House, to the elevated plateau of Drovers' Hill enjoying sweeping views across the Chilterns, with spaces to suit every imagination and every style.
The showcase has been thoughtfully curated by Papillon Events, specialists in bespoke event planning and styling, and the canvas for the day will be a stunning sailcloth Sperry Tent provided by Boutique Marquees, located on the elegant front lawns of Stonor House. Set in the heart of the Chilterns countryside near Henley-on-Thames and under an hour from London, the showcase offers couples the opportunity to discover one of the UK's most distinctive wedding destinations, where heritage, landscape and refined celebration come together.
The showcase features a curated selection of trusted local wedding specialists, offering inspiration and expert guidance for every element of the day. Couples can meet talented suppliers including Stemtation Flowers showcasing seasonal florals, award-winning caterers Goose + Berry, elegant stationery from Lucca Studios, and wedding photographer by Lucy Davenport, all whilst sipping a glass of English sparkling wine from nearby winery Hundred Hills, accompanied by music from 8RAY.
Louisa Fifield, general manager at Stonor Park, said: "We are thrilled to invite couples to our first showcase for some years, to share the magic, beauty and versatility that make Stonor Park such a remarkable wedding venue."
Louisa adds, "We only host a handful of select weddings each year, with every couple given the freedom to express their creativity. We have broadened our offering this year with the addition of the breathtaking private event space, Drovers' Hill, with the option for couples to add a pop-up glamping village under the stars to host wedding guests at the end of the day, transforming a wedding day into a truly memorable weekend event. From intimate and elegant, to big and bold, Stonor provides an unforgettable backdrop for every imagination."
Entry to the showcase is free, however advance booking is required. To find out more and reserve a place, visit: www.stonor.com/events/wedding-showcase
