With stores in Berkshire, Newbie Launches Children’s Footwear Collection

Scandinavian childrenswear and lifestyle brand Newbie partners with Swedish heritage footwear brand Kavat, founded in 1945, to launch a limited collection of premium leather children's shoes.

Launching on 25th March 2026, the collaboration combines Kavat's decades of shoemaking expertise with Newbie's timeless design and hand-drawn details. The collection features six styles: three pre-walker shoes designed for first steps and three sandals for warmer days that are ideal for wedding celebrations.

All styles are crafted in premium leather and finished with embroidered Newbie prints. Each pair is designed with careful attention to fit, comfort and durability, using high-quality materials made to support developing feet through play, movement and everyday adventures. Sizes range from UK children's size 3 to 8 (EU 19–25).

The collaboration follows long-standing requests from Newbie's customer community to expand the assortment with footwear created in the same timeless and sustainable spirit as the brand's clothing. Through the partnership with Kavat, known for quality-driven craftsmanship in the premium segment, Newbie now extends its offering with shoes made to last.
