The Vineyard Hotel & Spa elevates summer dining with the debut of Lobster on the Lawn, an enchanting outdoor experience. The Michelin Guide One Key holder and proud member of Relais & Châteaux and PoB Hotels combines this exciting al fresco experience with its exclusive 'Stay Longer, Discover More' offering guests three nights for the price of two, creating the ultimate summer escape.

Set against Berkshire's rolling countryside, Lobster on the Lawn offers a sociable dining experience that invites guests to relax with chilled drinks and plates of fresh Cornish lobster served with garlic and herb butter. Heritage-breed 10oz sirloin steak on the bone with bois boudran sauce and seasonal maitake mushroom tacos with black beans, sheepdrove leaves, and avocado are other options. All dishes are served with crisp fries and a fresh salad.

The menu, expertly crafted by executive chef Tom Scade and executive pastry chef Nicolas Bouhelier, perfectly captures the relaxed, social element of al fresco dining. Finish the meal with elegant desserts, including salted caramel chocolate tart, rum-marinated pineapple, and strawberry and vanilla tacos.

Running alongside the new dining concept is The Vineyard's exclusive 'Stay Longer, Discover More' offer, allowing guests to stay three nights for the price of two throughout the summer season. This package provides the perfect opportunity to make the most of British summertime with a longer escape, giving guests more time to unwind, indulge and explore the beautiful countryside.

The offer includes a recommended three-day itinerary
Day one - Arrival and relaxation - Settle into the elegant accommodation, enjoy a sunset aperitif on the lawn, and experience head chef Tom Scade's seasonal tasting menu at The Tasting Room with five exquisite courses paired with wines (Thursday to Saturday).
Day two - Exploration and indulgence - Visit nearby Highclere Castle (the iconic Downton Abbey setting just 30 minutes away, with concierge-arranged taxi transfers available), lunch at the acclaimed Goat on the Roof restaurant, and afternoon spa treatments and swimming.
Day three - Local charm and relaxation - Explore Newbury's boutique shops, the Kennet and Avon Canal, and peaceful walking trails at Snelsmore Common, followed by Lobster on the Lawn or heritage breed steak lunch, a guided wine cellar tour, and relaxed supper from the all-day menu.
