Coworth Park, Dorchester Collection's luxury country house hotel on the edge of Windsor Great Park, is delighted to unveil its new Garden Afternoon Tea; a celebration of seasonal blooms, refined flavours, and serene English elegance.
Timed perfectly with the flowering of the estate's celebrated wildflower meadow, the menu brings the beauty of the outdoors in, offering a sensory journey through nature's finest.
Guests are invited to savour this quintessentially British experience in the heart of the Berkshire countryside. Afternoon Tea is served in the Drawing Room, with its views stretching across the rolling parkland, or in the light-filled conservatory, where visitors are immersed in the natural beauty of Coworth Park's grounds, a setting that feels a world away, yet within easy reach of the capital.
The Garden Afternoon Tea menu showcases a thoughtful selection of seasonal sandwiches, freshly baked scones and intricately crafted pastries. Sandwiches include Smokin' Brothers smoked salmon with elderflower crème fraîche and black pepper on rye, and St Andrew's cheddar cheese savoury with wild chives on tomato bread. Sweet scones are served with strawberry jam, peach and elderflower compote, and clotted cream. Standout pastries include lemon and almond tart with lemon verbena, and English strawberries with cheesecake, hibiscus and rose. An expansive tea menu accompanies the menu, with options including Coworth Park's signature Afternoon Blend, Flowering Carnation and Rhubarb tea. Guests can choose from country house classics, herbal infusions, flowering teas, fruit blends and global favourites.
Traditional Afternoon Tea is priced at £75, with a Sparkling Afternoon Tea option available at £90, served with a glass of Rathfinny Rosé or a non-alcoholic glass of Wild Idol. A dedicated Children's Garden Afternoon Tea is also available at £35 per guest, featuring age-appropriate sandwich selections such as Devon white chicken and mayonnaise on white bread and St Andrew's cheddar cheese on brown bread. Sweet treats include freshly baked scones and whimsical pastries like the signature milk chocolate ladybird and Choux bear.
This launch also marks a new chapter in Coworth Park's pastry story, with the arrival of executive pastry chef Mourad Khiat. The tea is served on elegant Duchess China, crafted by the UK's last remaining historic Fine Bone China manufacturer. Inspired by Coworth Park's wildflower meadows, the bespoke tea service is sustainably produced using responsibly sourced materials.
Afternoon Tea is served daily from 12:30pm to 4:30pm in the Drawing Room and conservatory. https://www.dorchestercollection.com/ascot/coworth-park
