Horwood House announces partnership with Silverstone Interactive Museum

Calling all petrol heads and F1 fanatics! With the summer holidays just around the corner, Buckinghamshire countryside hotel, Horwood House, has announced a new partnership with leading local attraction, Silverstone Interactive Museum, to offer a thrilling agenda perfect for adults and children alike!

Located just 25 minutes from the hotel, guests can enjoy a fun-fuelled afternoon at the museum – filled with brilliant artefacts and interactive experiences – before heading back to the hotel for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Celebrating the past, present and future of Silverstone and British motor racing, the museum offers 60 hands-on interactive exhibits, alongside an up-close look at some of the most iconic cars and bikes from the past 70 years. Start your tour rubbing shoulders with racing drivers and mechanics on the virtual grid, as they prepare their cars to race around you in a thrilling immersive show. Next, visit the race day area and find out what really happens behind the scenes, on and off the track, before heading to the tech lab and discovering what makes the world's top racing machines tick.

After an exhilarating afternoon, take to the wheel of your own car and make the short trip to the idyllic Horwood House. Check into one of their beautiful bedrooms before heading to the hotel's restaurant, Harry's Bar & Kitchen, for a seasonal British dinner, expertly prepared by Executive Chef Will Dimartino. With a £30 allocation per adult included in the package, parents are welcomed to enjoy seasonal and locally sourced fare with dishes including roast chicken breast with chorizo, beef brisket with creamy mash and BBQ harissa cauliflower. Kids eat free with delicious dishes of sausages and mash alongside chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream on the children's menu. You'll also have access to the hotel's thermal spa facilities and swimming pool, which runs family friendly splash times from 9-10am and 4-7pm daily.
