The HangOut Bar & Grill at Donnington Valley opens for summer

Donnington Valley Hotel & Spa has announced the opening of The HangOut Bar & Grill for summer 2024. Nestled in the heart of Newbury, Berkshire, The HangOut invites guests to indulge in a delicious food and beverage experience featuring locally sourced and seasonal dishes, against the backdrop of the hotel's outside terrace.

From classic burgers to sharing platters for four, The HangOut offers a tasty menu for lunch, afternoon snacks, or cocktails and dinner. Should the unpredictable British weather decide to make an appearance, the new tipi-style tent stretching across the terrace provides shelter without compromising on the outdoor experience.

Karen Dawson, operations director at Donnington Valley Hotel & Spa states: "Our aim with The HangOut is to create a vibrant space where guests can unwind, indulge in delicious food, and enjoy live music in a relaxed atmosphere. We're excited to showcase the best of what Newbury has to offer and provide a memorable dining experience for all who visit."

The HangOut also boasts a carefully curated wine list featuring special selections to complement each meal perfectly. For those seeking a more laid-back vibe, there's a 2-for-1 cocktail offer during happy hour from 4 – 6 pm daily. At the weekends, guests can listen to the beats of some of the best local musicians and DJs, adding an extra layer of entertainment to their dining experience. The Live Music sessions will be every Saturday from 12-4 pm, courtesy of Club Kudo, kickstarting the weekend's festivities. No reservations are necessary – simply drop in and HangOut!
