The De Vere Cotswold Water Park hotel

The De Vere hotel group has announced a partnership with British publishing house Bloomsbury to launch a new book club that will mean guests can enjoy during their stay. A choice of four titles will be refreshed on a bi-monthly basis to include a variety of recent launches, topical reads, and modern classics. The first selection includes Greenwich Park by author Katherine Faulkner; Sunday Times bestseller A Long Petal of the Sea by Isabel Allende, Somebody I Used to Know, a powerful memoir by Wendy Mitchell and In Control: Dangerous Relationships and How They End in Murder, by Professor Jane Monckton-Smith.

De Vere's mansion house hotels are the perfect sanctuary where guests can get lost in a gripping read, with an abundance of welcoming lounges, atmospheric bars, and comfy snugs to choose from. Cosy up in the Library Bar at De Vere Tortworth Court in Gloucestershire, where soft furnishings and feature walls filled with books combine to create a welcoming, relaxing spot; spend an afternoon in The Library at De Vere Latimer Estate in Buckinghamshire, a secluded place where guests can enjoy a good book as well as a board game or delicious afternoon tea; or bring along a book to enjoy as your explore the 100 lakes, and vast expanse of rivers, woodland, and open countryside which surround De Vere Cotswold Water Park (pictured). The book club is also available at De Vere Wokefield Estate near Reading, De Vere Beaumont Estate in Windsor, and De Vere Horsley Estate in Surrey.
