The whitewashed exterior of wedding venue Danesfield House sits in 65 acres of impressively landscaped gardens, full of glorious touches, including wisteria, lavender, pretty fountains and waterfalls, all looking out towards the River Thames and the Chiltern Hills.

You can choose from up to five suites for your ceremony, with up to 120 friends and family, and there is also the option of exclusive hire and even a marquee on the lawn. For the reception, the opulent Versailles Suite offers room for up to 120 loved ones for the wedding breakfast and can be combined with the classical Chiltern Suite for an evening reception of up to 180 friends and family. And with 75 bedrooms, there's room for everyone to stay over, relax and enjoy the hotel's facilities, including the award-winning spa.

Did you know? The perfectly cut straight line in the Yew hedges is the result of the local muntjac and fallow deer nibbling as high as they can reach.
