I have been lucky enough to take a trip to Spain’s vibrant capital city this year and it didn’t disappoint! | Berkshire Perfumer Launches Exhibition: The Scent of Colour |
| |
The Scent of Colour is an exhibition that explores this cognitive and sensory mystery and it's taking place in Reading, Berkshire this Autumn. After collecting data from local residents and carrying out research of his own, HUMOS fragrance expert, Gabriel De Carvalho will present his latest exhibition at his studio and showroom on Church Street, Caversham, Reading. Following on from the success of his previous exhibition, The Invisible Dress, the Berkshire-based perfumer will now present The Scent of Colour: A Social Exploration. He will be on hand to answer questions during the interactive sensory experience. Guests can expect their eyes and nose to work in harmony with results that may be surprising. Gabriel De Carvalho tells us, "I've been researching synaesthesia in great depth recently and in particular the way in which our senses sometimes cross wires with regards to smell and colours. I wanted to bring my findings to life in a way that everyone can be a part of and enjoy. I've been creating fragrances for many years and the data I gathered helped me formulate some fascinating new scents that were exclusively created for this exhibition. These fragrances have never before been available to the public."
