Sticks 'n' Sushi's new sweet menu

Sticks'n'Sushi, which has a restaurant in Oxford has announced the launch of their all-new dessert menu of innovative Japanese-inspired sweet treats. Having previously offered small after-dinner bites, the new menu provides a variety of full-size dessert plates to satisfy the sweetest tooth.

Sticks'n'Sushi is known for its high-quality, fresh food based on a unique combination of sushi and yakitori sticks from the grill, with restaurants offering diners a welcoming combination of Danish Hygge and Japanese Noren.

The new dessert menu promises to elevate the dining experience at every restaurant, making it an ideal destination for special occasions including date nights. The menu has been thoughtfully curated to offer contemporary sweet creations with traditional Japanese flavours, with a range of tempting options that cater to a variety of palates.

The standout offerings include the Karameru ice cream – one sourdough-flavoured ice cream topped with miso caramel, hazelnut nougatine and dark chocolate, and one vanilla-flavoured ice cream, covered in caramelized white chocolate sauce and white chocolate cookie crumble. Sticks'n'Sushi's Japanese identity shines through desserts such as the Goma, a black sesame custard while the Yuzu dessert celebrates the tart East-Asian citrus fruit with shortcrust pastry, filled with yuzu curd and topped with a yuzu meringue. For those looking for something a little lighter, the plant-based Shabetto sorbet trio offers scoops of sunripe Alfonso mango, blackcurrant with Danish berries from Thy, and a chocolate sorbet made with Avola almonds. Finally, the new Matcha dessert combines a rich dark chocolate fondant with an indulgent molten matcha core, served with vanilla ice cream and topped with a matcha cookie crumble.

In addition to the delicious desserts, the brand-new after-dinner menu includes a selection of speciality digestif cocktails, each carefully created to enhance and complement the new dishes. Guests can enjoy the Yuzu Negroni, Chocolate Rum Old Fashioned and Salted Caramel Miso Espresso Martini, each a classic with a signature Sticks'n'Sushi twist.
