The Tythe Barn in Launton is a 14th-century thatched barn wedding venue that's steeped in history and oozes character, from the original beams to the floor-to-ceiling glass doors that bring the light flooding in.

Brought fully up to date, the interior is decked with fairylights and a Bose sound system, which is hidden in the beautiful stone walls. And the gardens offer pretty pathways and pergolas for your photographs.The main barn has room for up to 150 loved ones for the ceremony and up to 220 for an evening reception, while the Cowshed offers a more intimate setting, with up to 40 friends and family for the ceremony and wedding breakfast. The Nook is a beautifully restored barn for the bride and bridesmaids, while the romantic Shepherd's Hut is a special alternative to your typical wedding suite.

We love... the Cowshed's cosy wood burner and pizza oven.
