Big, bright and vibrant colours will continue to feature in weddings in 2020, across everything from cakes to stationery, floral arrangements and tablescapes. We adore this bold and quirky design from Clare Dovey Wilson of Oxfordshire cakemakers Dovey Cakes.

The gorgeous, 14th-century Tythe Barn in Launton is one of the featured wedding venues in our spotlight on North Bucks & North Oxon. Steeped in history, yet full up to date, it offers a choice of two great spaces as well as The Nook, for bridal preparatios and the romantic Shepherd's Hut for a wedding suite. To find out our other picks, you can order our Oct/Nov 2019 issue here.
We love this paper floral arch by Paper Tree Design, as featured in our Oct/Nov 2019 issue, in a dedicated venue styling feature. We love this shot of the driveway up to Danesfield House Hotel & Spa - a storybook beginning if ever we saw one. Apparently the straight lines of the yew hedges at the venue are the result of the local muntjac and fallow deer nibbling as high as they can reach. We absolutely love the cover shot from our new October/November 2019 issue, by Eneka Stewart, with hair by Megan Kirby and make-up by Zoe Heathers, who also organised the shoot that the image is taken from, at the Kings Chapel, Old Amersham.
