Berkshire-based make-up artist Imogen Sandy recommends new-season colours
Imogen Sandy is a Berkshire-based make-up artist. We catch up with her to ask about new-season colours that are trending for brides and bridesmaids. She tells us, "With spring approaching, adding subtle pops of colour to your bridal make-up is an excellent way to welcome the season and celebrate your bridal party's individuality. Colour can be intimidating, but introducing muted tones can elevate a bridal make-up look. When researching your make-up inspiration, consider looking at the colour wheel. Colours on the opposite sides of the wheel create flattering contrasts that look phenomenal in photographs, for example, pops of green teamed with auburn hair."

We caught up with her to ask what's trending in the world of bridal hair. She tells us, "I'm seeing a shift from boho-chic ooks to simpler yet textured styles. The tousled ponytail is trending at the moment and is simple to create with the volume on top and a soft curl or wave throughout. It looks great pinned into a low, seamless ponytail with loosely curled strands left at the front to frame the face. This style looks effortless finished with a wire hair accessory worn at the side and a veil can also be added."
