Bel & The Dragon Reading has just opened five new rooms, making it more in line with the group's country inns. What makes it stand out are the waterside views of the canal, the fantastic food of head chef Ronnie Kimbugwe and The Majestic, the riverside boat that could make for a fabulous wedding reception.

A former biscuit factory, Bel & The Dragon Reading, is located on the waterfront of the Kennet & Avon Canal and just a short distance from the centre of the town. The unique building has been refurbished to include a restaurant and bar, as well as five beautiful new en-suite bedrooms.

Making best use of the waterside location, you can also hold your wedding ceremony in The Majestic Bel Riverboat with room for up to 50 friends and family. For those preferring to arrive by boat, mooring can be provided or, alternatively, if the boat is also available for a private cruise, the ideal way to explore the Bel's inviting food and wine; the boat holds up to 70 for an evening reception.
