Say I do with these 5 tips on saving for a wedding
Your wedding is likely to be one of the most important days of your life. While the day itself...
The 18th-century Lion at Wendlebury has just reopened with 13 new rooms. The historic Oxfordshire pub has a new purpose-built L-shaped Cotswold stone cottage adjacent to the main building. The Lion's new rooms coincides with the appointment of new general manager, Claire Lenkowiec, while head chef, Conal Boyle, has created a delicious, new menu of classic British dishes with a twist to celebrate the re-launch.
The stars of the re-launch are thirteen, new, individually-decorated and relaxingly stylish double bedrooms, all en-suite, adjacent to the pub in a new building of Cotswold stone with oak-framed windows. Spacious, bright and airy, there are eight rooms on the ground floor, including one with disabled access, and five on the first floor. Some feature full-height glazed doors leading onto clear-glazed Juliet balconies or have dual aspect windows with views over a new landscaped courtyard edged by Cotswold stone walling. The two largest rooms include sofa beds, making them ideal for families.
Just two miles from shopping outlet Bicester Village, this could be the perfect getaway, especially with the new menus and wedding reception possibilities. Call 01869 388 228 or visit www.thelionwendlebury.co.uk
