Oxford / Bucks boutique wins 2018 bridal website of the year award

Ellie Sanderson Bridal Boutique won the Retailer Website of the Year award at this year's Bridal Buyer Awards, and we talked to Ellie about it.

“I was utterly delighted,” says Ellie. “I've spent a lot of time analysing what my clients need from their online experience. Connecting online as well as instore has never been more important, and I'm glad the judges felt my site offered this experience.”

Ellie Sanderson opened her first boutique in Beaconsfield 11 years ago and then in Oxford a few years later. The boutique has won over 17 national awards, and stocks some of the world's most exclusive labels, from Suzanne Neville to Made with Love, Charlie Brear to Savin.

“I scour the world to find the best and bring them home. My collection is fresh and inspirational with a good balance of styles. I'm so proud of the team I have and the personal service we offer. We run from anything ordinary!

“I always ask that you book an appointment, that way I can be certain one of my stylists will be on hand to look after you and your girls, make tea and get the bubbles on ice. As we're a small boutique, our focus is on a one-to-one experience. We offer two hour appointments and sole use of our boutique, as, let's face it, it's all about you.

“Our collection is well known for being a little bit different and we're proud to sell lots of British labels. We advise that six to nine months should be allowed to ensure you have plenty of time, and as we work really closely with our designers, we're also able to offer bespoke design changes on most of our dresses. This enables you to have exactly what you want without compromise and means we get to design a one-off dress just for you. We also offer VIP styling appointment for all our brides with our brilliant collection of cool accessories and veils.

“Finally, we employ only the best couture dressmakers in the county to do our alterations. We offer these three days /evenings per week in our fantastic new fitting suites just off the M40. We have free and easy parking outside and a gorgeous lounge area to chill before and after your appointment.”
