Want to be on-trend with your big-day blooms but aren't quite sure where to begin? Tracey Ricci of Floribundi has the lowdown on the 2019 season..
“Strong colours such as coral and cobalt are very 2019, from the soft shades of peach through to striking orange or the palest pastel blues to zingy electric shades,” says Tracey. “Colours like these look fantastic throughout a wedding. Mix either of these colours with silvers or golds to add opulence to your table displays.
“The most commonly used flowers, such as roses, gypsophila and freesias, are available all year and in colours that complement the seasons. Ivory is always a classic choice, while pinks and soft pastels are still popular for spring, summer and autumn, with fantastic pops of richer brown and burgundy tones coming through for winter.
“Eucalyptus has been a popular foliage for the past few years, giving that lovely warm blue/grey tone, and comes with a large variety of leaf shapes. In the more natural-looking organic hand-tied bouquet, which are especially on-trend, eucalyptus is perfect to get that casual wild look and also great in large displays flanking entrances. As your guests arrive, they will get that sweet smell of nature.”
