We catch up with Berkshire-based wedding photographer, Annabel Farley, about her top tips for couples getting married this autumn. She tells us, "Autumn is one of my favourite times to shoot in. The beautiful earthy colours, warm and golden light, and gorgeous crisp blue skies create the perfect scenic backdrop. Whether you're going ahead with your already-planned autumn celebration, or thinking about having a last-minute micro-wedding, here is why I think you should take the plunge this autumn!"
"Many couples now are opting to plan last-minute weddings for up to 15 of their closest family and friends. Invite your closest loved ones to the event and plan to live stream it to a wider guest list. You don't have to wait to celebrate your love. It's all about the love you and your partner have for each other and those who want to celebrate with you, so why not opt for a last-minute adventure?"
"There are so many beautiful colours that you can take advantage of during the season. We're talking rich earthy tones, berry reds, golden leaves and why not think about autumnal fruits and veggies, perfect for some quirky and romantic backdrops for your photos. Your inspiration for décor can also come from the nature around you. Autumnal branches and twigs intertwined with red berries can sit beautifully on your tables. Use flowers that are in season so you can use suitable blooms that will tie in with all your other autumnal décor."
Annabel offers a personalised service throughout each couple's wedding planning journey, from the initial enquiry through to the image and album delivery. She currently offers flexibility for micro-wedding bookings and bespoke packages including shorter coverage starting from two hours.
