Welcome to the first issue of Your Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wedding in 2020! Wow, where did the last 10 years go, and how exciting to start a new decade!
If you’re tying the knot this year, what an exciting year to do it, and you’re in for a treat following each issue of Your Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wedding because it’s packed to the brim full of local suppliers, from venues to photographers, cake designers to florists, all of our features, tips and inspiration is from the region.
What’s more, Berkshire is home to our Signature Wedding Show at Ascot Racecourse, an event the County Wedding Magazines team loves to attend to meet with local professionals and also the couples visiting the show to hear all about their big-day plans.
If you’re still in the throes of wedding planning then read on, as we’re on hand to help; this issue we have a wedding transport feature to get your inspiration wheels turning, as well as a photography showcase of our favourite wedding
images from last year – there’s a couple of tear-jerkers in the mix so have your tissues at the ready!

Sir Christopher Wren Hotel & Spa offers three event suites licensed for wedding ceremonies: The Princess Suite is the largest, with space for up to 110 guests day and night, boasting large windows overlooking the River Thames and a private bar is available for receptions.
Windsor Lounge is a new event space, recently refurbished with modern décor for 50 guests to watch the vows.
With deep red chairs and curtains, the Sienna Room is an atmospheric spot for an intimate ceremony of 18 or for a private wedding dinner of 12.
Alternatively, al fresco nuptials can take place on the Riverside Terrace, so you can say ‘I do’ overlooking the River Thames and Eton Bridge with 50 guests.
Last, but by no means least, The Brasserie: a semi-private space located within The Brasserie at Sir Christopher Wren with a large glass ceiling dome, modern décor and direct access to the Riverside Terrace; it can host 36 guests for the wedding breakfast.
Sir Christopher Wren Hotel & Spa is also home to Wren’s Club, a private gym and day spa offering various beauty treatments; perfect for some pre-wedding pampering. All wedding packages include one night free accommodation for the bride and groom!
