Cherwell Boathouse
Couples searching for a quintessentially English venue will enjoy the views that this family-run restaurant, Oxford’s largest punting station and riverside marquee, has to offer. It’s perched on the banks of the idyllic River Cherwell close to the centre of Oxford and newlyweds can arrive at the reception venue in a chauffeured punt.
Up to 125 guests can be seated inside the marquee on round or banqueting tables. There’s a bar area and the structure provides a blank canvas for any theme.
The Lower Boathouse located adjacent to the river features an outdoor terrace for al fresco dining and a large gazebo, again with its own bar boasting an award-winning wine list, and is the perfect pick for arrival drinks or as an alternative area for the evening reception. The industrialstyle interior showcases red-brick walls and atmospheric lighting.

| Hedsor House launch wedding packages |
| |
Hedsor House located in Taplow, Buckinghamshire, is a Georgian mansion set in more than 100 acres of private parkland available for exclusive-use weddings. Three new Luxury Curated Wedding packages are now available for 2023. The Darcy Wedding and The Augusta Wedding packages are both designed for 70 guests while The 1776 Wedding package is best suited to 100 guests. The packages differ but all include use of the house and grounds, bridal suite and guest bedrooms plus a three-course wedding breakfast and a cake.
