Our beautiful bridesmaids wore dusky blue three-q uarter length dresses featuring a similar style neckline to my dress and an open back. Our blue and white marble three-tier cake matched our colour theme. The white top tier was a chocolate fudge cake with salted caramel and Oreo chocolate buttercream, the middle tier was gluten and milk-free lemon drizzle sponge with raspberry jam and lemon buttercream and the bottom tier was a vanilla bean sponge with biscoff buttercream and salted caramel sauce. Joe’s groomsmen wore the same suit as him teamed with a grey cravat and both of our fathers wore the same suits but with a grey tie. I wore a Stella York gown. I wanted something which was pretty yet simple and I liked the high neck with the open back. I chose a crystal and pearl hairpiece and finished my look with a pair of sparkly high heels. We created a display using Winnie the Pooh teddies and a sign which read ‘A day without friends is like a pot without a single drop of honey in.’ Growing up, I loved Winnie the Pooh and the past year has shown just how important family and friends are. “Our photographer,Vicky, was amazing! She went above and beyond and so many of our guests commented on how friendly she was. She captured the most beautiful photographs and the candid ones are my favourites. She also made sure that she got to know us and made a point of finding my cat when we were getting ready so she could take photos of her.
