Missenden Abbey
Set in the refined splendour of a 12th-century abbey, the magic begins as you enter the grounds down the driveway and the awe-inspiring building appears in front of the gorgeous view of the Chilterns. Missenden promises a true yuletide setting for your big day, with features such as flint walls, vaulted ceilings and stained-glass windows.
Ceremonies can take place in the Garden Room or Library with up to 100 of your loved ones, and the day continues throughout the main abbey, with a wedding breakfast in the vaulted dining rooms and an evening reception with live music or a disco in the Garden Room, both for up to 120 guests. Alternatively there’s a marquee option for larger wedding parties of up to 220. And at the end, a complimentary bridal suite awaits you with breakfast the next morning, while there are also bed and breakfast options for your guests.
