Cherwell Boathouse
The Cherwell Boathouse is the main punt station in the city and an Oxford institution since it was built in 1904. Free from powered boats and home to thriving wildlife, the river provides a perfect backdrop for a wedding reception. You can choose to have your wedding breakfast and reception, with up to 125 of your loved ones, in either the Lower Boathouse, next to the river, or the marquee, with riverside views.
It also has a bar, dancefloor and music system, and, perhaps best of all, the option of catering provided by the renowned family-owned restaurant.
