Ufton Court
If you're looking for something off the beaten track, then Ufton Court could be for you. Situated in gorgeous countryside on the Berkshire / Hampshire borders, this Grade I Tudor manor house and Tithe Barn is full of delights, from ancient oaks lining the driveway to the orchard, courtyard and sunken garden. Choose from three locations for your ceremony, from the traditional stately Long Ceremony Room, the oak-beamed Archer's Hall and the 16th-century Tithe Barn accommodating up to 50, 80 and 150 of your loved ones respectively. The venue is full of quirky spots for big-day photos, including the walled garden and icehouse, and the engraved swing under the great oak.
Drinks receptions can be held in the Archer's Hall or the Great Hall next to the Long Ceremony Room, while the Tithe Barn can host up to 150 friends and family for the wedding breakfast and an additional 50 for the evening reception. Tea and coffee can be taken in the Archer's Room, which is also useful later as a quiet space or children's play area while the barn is transformed, and with its white-washed walls and stone floor, its also the perfect blank canvas, with a high ceiling and beams for light displays.
